During the weekend of June 22nd, 2025, the United States became involved in the Iran-Israel conflict by deploying over 125 aircraft, including seven B-2 Stealth bombers, to strike select nuclear sites in Iran using “bunker buster” munitions (ABC News).
This event, combined with ongoing tariff negotiations, contributed to a volatile period for global markets. Despite the headlines, the market showed resilience and moved slightly higher overall (Yahoo Finance).
Where Do We Go From Here?
Anything is possible, and you could argue this is a time that is more unpredictable than most, so if you’d like to adjust your exposure to stocks in any way within your personal portfolio or have had any changes to your risk tolerance, please let us know.
For the past 3 months, we’ve repeatedly predicted that the market would rebound and that the market would hit a new all-time high. We believe the market will actually go above and beyond the previous all-time high and that it will most likely occur sooner rather than later, despite all of the geopolitical and tariff headlines.
However, please expect some headlines to scare the market into a shorter-term drop at some point, maybe even as much as a 10% drop, before rebounding again in our opinion. In our opinion, the most likely scenario is that by the time 2025 comes to a close, the market will be higher than it is now; however, anything is possible.
